While Medium is the place for me, I wanted to read your point of view on it. I love writing and publishing as often as I do (five times a week). I like the speed and the platform, in general.

It actually made me fall in love with writing even more.

Just because someone — like you, for example — can’t “keep up” (I hope that doesn’t sound rude) doesn’t make me a better writer. It makes us different. Medium isn’t the best platform for every writer, and that’s not a bad thing.

I think it’s great that you realized you would prefer a different platform and make money your own way. Medium isn’t everything and not succeeding on here — whatever that means — doesn’t make you any less of a writer.
