I’m glad you wrote this, Ayodeji. The MPP does make it a little difficult to remain patient at times. I always keep the reminder that it’s going to take years to where I want to get, which is why I don’t quit.

That’s also why I’m trying to find a job. (Although I’m a top-rated freelancer on UpWork, I’m struggling to get a gig!) Getting a job would take the pressure off trying to make money on Medium. I wouldn’t depend on it, and the less I depend on the income I earn from here, the more I can focus on writing just to writing and growing as a writer.

That’s all I want from Medium.
