My first job was a scam. It was through UpWork, and they asked me to send the article, which took me 3 hours to write and edit, through email. I sent it. We didn’t even have a contract cause I was still trying to understand UpWork, and I didn’t know we needed one!!

If I’d read the DON’T DO THIS rules beforehand, I would’ve seen that when they ask for work through email, it’s a scam 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I was so embarrassed and pissed lmao
