Now and then you read a sentence that makes you laugh in disbelief cause it’s so damn good. This was it for me.

I used to be obsessed with the numbers, the stats, the follower counts. Now? I genuinely don’t care.

And it’s the best. I can write without worry of the result.

I’ll publish a piece, and start working on another. It’s so freeing and relieving.

Results are a byproduct — not something you can manipulate. So, why try to control them all at?

Work. That’s what matters the most. Being able to see it, to focus on that solely, is what all writers — and artists, in general — should strive to do.

Day by day. That’s all it takes.
