This was such a relatable piece — down to the coming out part lmao. My sisters were accepting right away when I came out but my parents took some time… a long time lol.

We all still live together, but I can’t imagine how strange it will feel to move out and away from my siblings. I told my friend about that once, and she said, “It’s not like they’re dying.”

She made me feel like I was being dramatic, but now I know I’m not haha. She had a very complicated relationship with her one sister, so I guess she just didn’t understand.
