Yes!! This is so true. After I graduated from high school, I knew I didn’t want to go to college, and I knew I wanted to do my own thing, but I didn’t know what that thing was.

I started a blog and pretended I was passionate about it, but the truth was, I spent the day watching Netflix. It wasn’t until I found what I loved (writing) that everything changed.

Now the thought of watching even more than one episode per day makes me cringe. I went from watching six episodes of tv shows per day to about three per week, and all because I found something I was passionate about — because I found purpose.

I have goals and a vision now. I still love watching shows, honestly, but it’s not everything. I’d rather do the things that will help me reach my long-term plans.
